Installation view
Draw inspiration from the works of the Jesuit Qing court painters who introduced one-point perspective and western aesthetic to Chinese artists while adapting the traditional Chinese style and subjects in their works to suit the taste of emperors. The series ‘Adapted Perspective Reinterpreted’ reframes that cultural acclimation within the specific cultural flux and political situation of Hong Kong.
